Music Curriculum Intent:

“The music department strives to nurture and develop students of all abilities, and establish an atmosphere in which they can take joy from what they are learning. This will extend outside of the classroom. Students will feel valued and free to explore different musical challenges with resilience and grit. We want our students to be unafraid to take risks in the pursuit of developing their own creative and stylish flair. Students should take opportunities both inside and outside of the classroom to be collaborative. This includes group work and feedback. This will develop the way in which they think. Our students will leave with more confidence, creativity, resilience and determination”
